Haldia Samaj Kalyan Parsad (Gandhi Ashram) has already covered 41 years in humanitarian services towards the development of the under privileged and disadvantaged women and helpless children who were passing the hard days in sordid misery and abject poverty being victims of social injustice.
The inmates are given balanced food at breakfast, lunch, twilight snacks and dinner. They are lodged in pucca buildings with adequate number of bathrooms and sanitary toilets.
Home under the Juvenile Justice
We have been running a Home under the Juvenile Justice Act.1986, named “UNMESH” J. J. Home for the mentally challenged children only since 1994 with the financial assistance of the Govt. of India.
Charusila Granthagar
The library named ‘Charusila Granthagar’ was set up by Haldia Samaj Kalyan Parsad at Gandhi Ashram in the year 2005-06. It contains 1105 books of various subjects at present.
Anganwadi Training Center
This organization has been running an Anganwadi Training Center with the financial assistance of the Govt. of India and the Women and Child Development & Social Welfare Department of the Govt. of WB.
